A funny thing happened recently where the laughable ineptitude of past Bears coaches came up, today, and every day, all the time because it's an overflowing well for which there is no bottom.

However, folks are often surprised as just how much I hate Matt Nagy.

"You hate Matt Nagy!?"

    I do. So much. So, so much.

"Wait, is it because he blatantly ignored the very obvious limitations with his QB and offense and, rather than even try to come up with a solution, or even improvement, instead spent a whole offseason in a pants-shittingly insane frenzy over a kicker battle?"

    It sure doesn't help!

"And then the guy who won the battle, Eddie Pineiro, got injured, and they, out of duress, went to Cairo Santos, who ended up being one of the most accurate kickers in Bears history? So they effectively proved their kicker battle was a pointless waste of time, an embarrassment to the franchise, and also not even effective at finding the best kicker?"

  Did you know that when they did go to Cairo Santos out of desperation, it was actually the second time he was on Matt Nagy's roster? That one of Nagy's first moves was cutting him to sign Cody Parkey?

"Whu—"

    Breathe

"//tgefyuck"

    Breathe, friend.

"I don't think I can, I'm so mad"

    Surprisingly, not even the top 10 worst thing Matt Nagy did. Did you know when his team was on a 6-game slide entirely thanks to his ineptitude as an offensive coordinator, he had his keys taken away kicking and screaming to Bill Lazor, the offense immediately, I mean immediately surged to success, and then Matt Nagy spent the whole time throwing a shaking hissy fit and refusing to give anyone else credit?

BWF Pod - Week 2, Texans 19, Bears 13: So the defense is really great and so is the special teams and hey look, I'm running out of characters

 The Bears defense looks legit! Like literally dominant . Kyler Gordon, Tremaine Edmunds, and TJ Edwards are flying all over the middle of the field, while Jaylon John absolutely shuts down the outside. And low and behold, we have a legit defense line now! Gervon Dexter is developing into a legit threat! Andrew Billings has the body of a bulldozer and also the power of a bulldozer and also, somehow, the speed of a bulldozer. There is just no way to scheme to block him when Montez Sweat and Darrell Taylor are on the line with Dexter and Billings between them! It's awesome to see! Is this too many exclamation marks! I don't think I can stop!
