BWF Would Like to Formally Apologize to Velus Jones Jr If We've Done Anything To Disrespect (You Porpoise-Handed Waste of a Pick)

I was doing what everyone does when they get online - waste time while dabbling in cyber-stalking at a level that would've been criminal before George Bush took office - when I stumbled across this:

So Velus Jones has blocked our twitter account, which is both—

A: Totally understandable when you consider just how much we've crapped on his Bears career on the podcast—

and—

B: Absolutely wild when you consider that I never tweeted at Velus Jones. I never would do that. So...

...

...how did VJJ find BWF?

Was it our millions of fans? Our award-available podcast? Our zipcode-topping handsomeness? All valid theories.

Mine is simple - Velus Jones Jr is a huge fan of the Bear Weather Fans podcast.

Or I guess was. He's blocked us now.

So, Velus, on behalf of at least one half of the BWF podcasting team, I'd like to formally apologize if we've ever done anything that made you feel disrespected. Though unlikely. We're a frankly exhaustingly professional organization that would never level disrespect at a player.

What was that? Oh, right, yes, there was that one episode in 2023:

But other than that, we have nothing to apologize for.

...other than that video we made in 2024 after the Hard Knocks episode revealed that teams were offering draft capital for you, mister Junior, which we declined.

HHHRGGMGMGMHGMRRRGGGGH

Ahem. So. Besides that though, we have nothing to apologize for.

What? We did a draft pick evaluation video of you again in 2024? We made two videos of you in the same season? Didn't you only have two catches before you got cut?

Jesus

Alright, well, as you can plainly see, Mr. Jones (Jr), we have nothing to apologize for. Other than the very numerous and blatant reasons we should apologize. But in that way, we aren't so different after all.
