The Olin Kreutz Guide to Conflict Resolution

Image
Hi, I'm Olin Kreutz. You probably remember me from my dynamic play at Center, my in-your-face attitude, or my 13 years playing for the Chicago Bears. While I'm proud of my work leading the offensive line (and locker room!) for the Chicago Bears, what I'm most proud of today is my new, life-changing system: The Olin Kreutz System for Conflict Resolution. "Whoa, conflict resolution? Haha I don't swing that way pal!" I know what it sounds like. But trust me. When you learn my life-changing methods for conflict resolution, nobody will joke or disrespect you. Ever again. They won't offer you the standard pay for a coaching assistant . They wouldn't dare. They wouldn't dare . Because of how good you'll be at conflict resolution. Let's begin. ...what was that? Did you say something? Did you say something? Oh, haha a water break! Ha! Of course! Everybody needs water! We're all having fun here! Ha! Ha. Well? Are you done interrupting now? Okay....

Offseason Shitposts: The Dave McGinnis Award for (Shameful) Coaching Achievements - Part 1: The Slapdick History of Michael McCaskey vs Dave McGinnis

Hello, I can close my eyes and visualize an HD replay of an 8-ft ginger with a freshly-cut $18M check funded in part by my own viewership walk onto the field and immediately take a snap to the dick, causing a fumble and loss of possession to the Packers. $18 million, ladies and gentlemen      While for a normal fanbase, this would've been exhibit A in the case to dissolve the franchise, that wasn’t even the most embarrassing play that game . My point is – like the rest of you – I’ve spent enough time supporting a once proud organization rendered into a national laughingstock that I'm technically eligible for the Republican Primary. I can't tell you the specifics of any playoff overtime rules, but I can tell you with 100% confidence just how a QB can end a half with a negative passer rating, along with real-life examples while I stare off quietly. It’s just what happens to a human brain that’s exposed to more first-round picks spent on busted QBs than playoff wins for 1...

End-Of-Season-Pod: So Seriously, What Should We Do?

On one hand, you have a talented but flawed quarterback who's almost universally loved, both inside the locker room and out. On the other, you have the #1 overall pick with a potential superstar QB on the board to bring in with this coaching staff. BUT WAIT! Do you even want to keep this coaching staff? I know you're scared, I know this keeps you up at night. I'm here to tell you not to fear, Ryan Poles. We have the answers. That's right - Bear Weather Fans Podcast hosts Patrick and Coach Bob know better than anyone in the NFL what the Bears need to do to not fuck this up. That's why, ahead of the Bears-Packers season finale, your intrepid hosts have broken down every possible situation, and which is the correct one ("correct" meaning, as always, doing exactly what Coach Bob and Patrick say you should do) . Listen on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or just like, wherever you get them, man. Google it.

Week 17 Recapisode: Bears 27, Falcons 17

Domination. Snow. Feelings. No YOU'RE CRYING

Week 16 - Bears and Cardinals and Christmas and SO MANY THINGS

For Christmas, the Bears got us the greatest gift of all - a whole week without being dunked on by the national media

Week 7 - Bears 30, Raiders 12:

The Bears kicked the crap out of the Raiders for four quarters with a backup, undrafted rookie QB from a DII school who was 4th on the depth chart this training camp, a 4'th string RB, and something like the 9'th offensive line combination in 7 weeks. Your two journeyed hosts have seen a Jimmy Clausen-led offense punt on every possession, a Matt Barkley-led offense that threw 5 interceptions in one game, and a fair share of starting QBs that have thrown for a ZERO passer rating. Coach Bob takes the joy of seeing a nobody QB show up and execute a successful offense and runs with it for an hour while Pat tries in vain to temper expectations (the mic was turned off after an hour, but some say Coach Bob is still ranting about Tyson Bagent to this day).
